the researh aimed to find out the novel's D.H. Lawrence sons and Lovers, it described in the problem statement, they were (1)what are the traits of the main characters (2)what are the conflict among the characters? (3)how is the psychological condition of the main character?.
through this analysis, the writer found many realism elements regarding the personality o Paul that is reflected in the novel. the realism expressed by the author in his work like social reality that happens in society, especially in famly tradition, convention, norm, symbol, and the most important is attitude, possesive, and charactersitic of character.
