The aim of this research is to discuss a conflict of racism and the struggle against racism in the novel “Dear Martin” by Nic Stone. The method used in this research is a descriptive gualitative method and note taking is the instrument of this research. The object used is the novel “Dear Martin” by Nic Stone. The researcher identified a racist conflict based on the four types of racism theory from Czerniawski, they are, Individual or Interpersonal Racism, Institutional Racism, Cultural Racism, and Internalized Racism. Based on the result of data analysis, the researcher found that there are racist conflict that occur in life of AfricanAmerican society and how the struggle of black people against racism.
