Moral Valucs in Acsop's Selected Fable
This study aims to explore the moral values in Aesop's fables. This research uses descriptive gualitative where the data are analysing use Imam Al-Ghazali's theory of moral values. The moral values found in five of Aesop's fables that are, 1) moral values related to God, 2) moral values related to oneself, including: patient, fair, and honest. 3) moral values related to other people, or commonly referred to as social morals. These include: tolerance, likes to help, and care for others. From this study it can be concluded that fables are not only children's literature that tell about animals, but also contain moral values that are very important to teach children, so Aesop's fables are suitable for reading by children. Because it contains moral values that can shape children's character for the better.
