The Women Resistences In Moxie Movie By Amy Poehler (2021)

This research discussed the forms of women's resitance contained in the Moxie movie by Amy Poehler (2021). This research used gualitative methods with a women's resistance theory approach to develop an understanding of the object under study. The results showed women's resistance against discrimination and the injustices found in various ways ranging from solidarity actions, campaigns, resistance with arguments, to self-development. Various forms of women's resistance in movies both shown by the main character and the famale characters which appear in dialogues and various artistic all lead to women's resistance efforts to create a safe space from harassment, against various acts of discrimination, bullying, body shaming, sexism and also subordination. This research is expected to contribute to efforts to fight for gender and social justice and provide space and support for women to develop their strength and potential in fighting discrimination and injustice.
