The Representation of God, Earth, and Human in Darren Aronofsky's Film

This research aims to explore how God, Earth, and Human are represented in the film and the relationship between those three elements in the mother! Film. The researcher used the representation theory by Stuart Hall. The researcher used the descriptive gualitative method to analyze and identify the object of the research. The researcher found several characters represented as God, Earth, and Human. God is represented as Him, Earth is represented as a House, and Human are represented as guests. The researcher concluded that humans must take good care of the earth, because one of the tasks of humans given by God is to become a caliph on earth, to be a leader to protect the earth from damage caused by humans.
