STRIVING FOR SUPERIORITY OF THE MAIN CHARACTER FRANK IN SAUSAGE PARTY MOVIE

This study discussed the striving for superiority in Sausage Party movie.
This study aims to analyze the psychological state of the main character regarding
the individual psychology development (Striving for Superiority process) of the
main character in the film Sausage Party as a literary work. This study used
qualitative methods and descriptive analysis techniques in revealing the data. This
study also used a note-taking instrument to collect valid data. The researcher found
several aspects that support Frank's strive for superiority, such as type of
personality, factors in the occurrence of striving for superiority, and compensation.
This study also concluded that Frank can overcome the sense of inferiority that
exists within himself. He succeed against his own weaknesses and his aim to save
all his friends for a successful and better life hastotally achieved. Means that feeling
of being part of a social community is very important. So, people whose social
interests are well developed, the strive is not for personal superiority but for the
perfection of everyone in society.
