This thesis studied about analysis of love in Mom’s List novel by St. Jhon
Green. The aim of research is to find out the kinds of love in Singe’s family in
Mom’s List novel by St. Jhon Green.
The researcher used descriptive qualitative method and psychological
approach in analyzing kinds of love in the novel Moms List by St. Jhon Green. In this
research, the instrument that is used by the writer was note taking. The writer
identified the kinds of love in the novel Mom’s List by St. Jhon Green
In this thesis, the researcher finds out that there are seven forms of love
consist of maternal love, five forms of love that contain paternal love, and seven
forms of love that contain love between husband and wife.
The implication of this research is to give more description, understanding
and knowledge of the readers and as a reference for the students of Adab and
Humanities faculty who want to discuss and study about the love in family.
