Code-Mixing in Boy William's Youtube Chanel
This research discusses the code-mixing in Boy William's YouTube channel. This research aimed to find the types of code-mixing and the factors of code-mixing. The object of this research is two selected videos from Boy William's YouTube channel. This research used a descriptive-gualitative method. The data in this research were analyzed using Muysken's code-mixing types theory and Fasold's code-mixing factor theory. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: 1) all three types of code-mixing were found in two selected videos in Boy William's youtube channel, namely insertion, alternation, and congruent lexicalization, 2) factors that resulted in code-mixing were: a) the development of grammatical and lexical systems, b) limited vocabulary, and c) conversational context.
