The Influence of Attitude toward the Shift of the Bima Language Among the youth in Woha Sub-district
This study aimed to find out how the shift of Bima language among youth of Woha Sub-district and to find out the attitudes of the youth in Woha Sub-district toward the use of Bima language. To answers this issues, the researcher involved the informants of Woha who live in Woha Sub-district. Then, in 20 Informants that choosen, their age was about 15-17 years old. In language shift refer to the problem Of a speaker or a group of speakers using a different language as a result of moving from one speech society to another. This research was conducted using a gualitative descriptive method and analyzed using Roman's theory, it is the attitude in one of the components that lead to a separate language change. The result of this study indicates that from 20 informants, Indonesian is used more often, but they still know and use Bima in several situations.
