Expressive Ilfocutionary In Life With Beens Selected Videos On Youtube

Expressive is utterances by which the speaker expresses the psychological state of' the speaker. It can be statements of pleasure, pain, likes, dislikes, joy, or sorrow, and they can express psychological states. Also, it can be caused by the speaker or the listener, but It is about the speaker's experience. The objectives of the study are to describe (1) the types of expressive speech act used in Life with Beans selected Videos on YouTube (2) the function of expressive speech acts used in Life with Beans selected videos on YouTube. The data were collected by watching the videos and reading the transcript to get information about the utterances that were used by the speakers in the videos in Life with Beans selected videos on YouTube using gualitative method. The result of this study that there are five kinds of expressive acts in sixty utterances used by the speakers in the videos. As the result we can see that showing compliment is the most using types of expressive speech acts that uses by the speakers on videos.
