Raya Resistance “Raya and The Last Dragon” Movie (Ecofeminism Analysis)
This study aims to analyze the anthropocentric image in “Raya and The Last Dragon” Movie, as well as to analyze the resistance of Raya which is the main female character of the movie. The resercher used d'Eubonne theory (1974) by classifying characters, dialogues, and monologues that are displayed as behaviors that influence to restore harmony between humans and nature. The results of this study indicate that there are three classifications of the characters, namely characters that are anthropocentric and very ecofeminist: (1) highly anthropocentric groups (Bones, Fangs, Tails), (2) individual characters that dominate the anthropocentric system, (3) Raya and groups that has a very ecofeminist attitude and character against anthropocentrism. The three specifications above prove that the closeness of humans and nature will be very close, positive and negative impacts will significantly affect each other.
