. An Analysis of Associative Meaning in Lyric Zain Bhikha Selected Songs

This research is entitled "An Analysis of Associative Meaning in Zain Bhikha's Selected Song Lyrics." The problem in this research is what types of associative meanings are found in Zain Bhikha's selected songs. The method used is descriptive-gualitative, with the research instrument being note-taking. The collected data was analyzed through three steps: reading song Iyrics, the selection process, and underlining data that contained associative meaning, such as connotative, stylistic, affective, reflective, and collocative meanings, according to Leech's theory. The results of the research show all types of associative meaning, with 21 data of connotative meaning, 5 data of stylistic meaning, 12 data of affective meaning, 3 data of reflective meaning, and 13 data of collocative meaning. Among the identified types, connotative meaning emerged as the most dominant. Pa Kala increase stener involvement and encourage them to think more pn Ta Ing 7 song yrics. Therefore, the researcher came to the Ive meaning in the Iyrics gives listeners an understanding that Allah gives eve i ife, li | ryone different kinds of life, like love, luxu and sadness, and gives them a deeper understanding of Islam.
