The Speech Act In Speaking Perfomance Used By English Club (Mabbicara)
This research discusses speech acts in English Club speaking performance (Mabbicara) which aims to analyze the types of speech acts. This Study focuses onthe use of 3 types of speech acts based on Austin's theory (1962-94). This exploration involves enlightening subjective strategy in uncovering the information. This scientist involves recording as an instrument to acguire legitimateinformation. The Study discovered that they use three distinct speech acts when discussing: locutionary acts, illocutionary acts, and perlocutionary acts. The illocutionary acts spoken by speakers with the power to be seen in terms of its significance were found to be the most prevalent illocutionary acts, according to theresearcher. By stating that the pronunciation of particular sounds can produce meaningful linguistic expressions, the act of locution is a ten-word phrase. Perlocutionary acts, on the other hand, are also spoken ten times by speakers because the state or thought is caused by or as a result of saying something. The specialist inferred that during the conversation, most speakers utilized illocutionaryacts to make it straightforward and forestall misconception.
