Idiolect Of Amandeeph Thind On Tedx Talk Program (2023)

Idiolect is a form of language that is usually used by someone. This diversity
is the totality of personal characteristics in the pattern of choice of vocabulary or
idioms (individual lexicon), grammar and pronunciation. This thesis aims to
analyse Amandeeph Thind's idiolect in the TEDx Talk program on YouTube. This
research uses a qualitative method by analyse idiolects, the researcher analyse
starting from the interpretation of speech to analyse the idiolect of each line using
the generative-transformational theory of Chomsky and Halle which is applied to
analyse idiolects from a phonological and morphological perspective, as well as
finding idiosyncratic elements in them. The data in this research is in the form of
sentences or paragraphs found on YouTube.
