Based on the performance of achievement of the students from the comparison of the pre-test and post-test after treatment was given to the control class and experimental class, both ciasses have shown significant improvement where students with poor achievement category can be increased to the above average category after the implementation of both deductive and inductive learning approach. However, based on the increase points from the pre-test and post-test , the inductive approach was considered to be more effective in increasing the students' achievement. Moreover, based on the ciass observation, the students in the inductive class were more enthusiastic and active in the learning process. As Inductive approach focused more on communicative language teaching, students showed more active involvement in the class compared to the deductive class. This research confirmed the findings of some inductive approach favored research in the previous studies.
