The Relationship Between Nature and Feminity As Portrayed in Avatar: The Way of Water’s Movie

This research is identified the depiction of the relationship between
women and nature. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship
between woman and nature in Avatar: The Way of Water movie. This research
used a descriptive qualitative method to explain the object of this research. Note
taking as an instrument was used to collect the data. The researcher analyzed the
object by used the theory of ecofeminism by Vandana Shiva. This research was
analyzed the relationship between women and nature from several dialogue,
monolog, and image of the scene from the screenshot. This object involved three
concept of ecofeminism, they are; development of ecology and women, science
of nature and gender, and women in nature. The result of this research found that
nature and women have a strong relationship. Woman and Nature are bound to
each other.
