Communication Barrier Faced By Staff Of Foreigners National Services Lmmigration Office 1 Makassar

This research focuses on forms of communication barriers faced by
Staff National Services Immigration Office 1 Makassar. This is a qualitative
descriptive research with data collection techniques using interview and
observation to 2 Staff National Services Immigration Office 1 Makassar. The
Researcher applied Gillespie’s theory (2008). In analyzing the data of this
research show that the forms of obstacles experienced by staff are:
miscommunication, misinterpretation, misperception, bad network, and
emotion. From the result of research can be concluded that the cause of the
barriers is due to the lack of language mastered by staff, which triggers
communication barriers.
