the objective of this research is to analyzed the cohesion devices that is used in short story of Eleonora that was written by Edgar Allan Poe where its a classical literary work. the result of this research shows that the ties of the text ta=hat indicating an accurately relation one datum to each other, by this research, we can also compare between classically literature and modern literature that is occured in writing of th text.
