the problem of this thesis are to find out the external conflict of the main character of the main character in Rachel Hawkin's novel "Hex Hall" and causes of the external conflict in the novel. the conclution of this research is the external conflict may occur in this novel because there is a clash of desire at very character. almost all of the conflict in the novel occur because the character of the novel greed of power, they justified all the act to get the power although that the black spell.
