the objective of this research is expected that this research aims at finding out the differences between the novel and the movie veersions. in this research intends to analyze its characters, plot and setting. in the characters, there is the differences between the novel based on the quantity of minor character, in plot, and there is differences between the novel of the great gatsby and its movie version, both in the beginning,middle, and the end of this plot. in analyzing setting, there are differences between its novel and its movie version through its times and social condition.
