English at the Faculty of Islamic Religious is a general basic course, the purpose of learning English is for students to understand integrated skills which include skills such as; reading, speaking, writing, and listening which are called macro skills. While grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary are called micro-skills. Previously, students had studied English in high school. So, it is considered that they already know the basic skills in English.
