The representation of women in Charles Dicken's novel "a tale of two cities"
As the result there are three forms of representation of woman in this novel. first, as the daughter the woman who has a care for her father parents. it is showed by Lucie Mannette who has a care for her father although she is in risk situation. the second, as the wifethe woman who has a loyalty of love to her husband in the prison, she attempts to meet him. Even though here is another man who loves her, too, Lucie is not influenced by this man. it is the prove of her loyalty of to her husband. third, a woman with the feminities is a able to submit a man. it is showed in the way of lucie to submit the feeling of sydney cartoon. as the result, sydney cartoon commits a suicide to satisfying lucie as the consequences of his promise.
