Struggle of Women in the Novel Sing Me to Sleep by Angela Morrison (The Analysis of Feminism)
This research discussed about the Struggle of woman in the novel sing me to sleep by Angela Morrison (2013), which aimed to find out the kinds of woman’s struggle and struggle to get her love in the novel Sing Me to Sleep. This research used qualitative descriptive method and focused Virginia Woolf theory. The writer used note taking as instrument of the research. The writer found that there are three kinds struggle of women. They are, the first the struggle to accept the facts of life, second the struggle to achieve a dream, and finally the struggle of in the form of affection, and struggles to get her love. The implication of this research is to give more information, description and comprehending about Struggle of women. Moreover, it can be a reference for the student of Adab and Humanities Faculty who are attracted to observe the similar research. Therefore, this research can be conclude that novel Sing Me to Sleep (2013) showed ten of kinds struggle of women, and struggle to get her love like Beth struggle to make Derek survive and Beth tried not to think negatively about his feelings.
