The Stylistics Analisis In THE Selected Eminem’s Songs

This research discussed about the stylistics classification of English vocabulary in the selected Eminem’s song which aimed to know the style and the characteristics of vocabularies used in the selected Eminem’s songs “Rap Gud” and “ Without Me. This research focused on Galperin’s theory about the descriptions all aspects of stylistics classification of English vocabulary from the lyrich of the songs. Then, the data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive metod. The researcher used note taking as the instrument to find out valid data. The findings showed that there were eingt aspects of stylistics classification of English vocabulary in the seledted Eminem’s songs ; they were terms, poetic word, foreign word, slang, jargon, professionalism, dialectal word and vulgarism. The vocabularies which was used in the selected Eminem song’s mostly colloquial layer thet consisted of slang, jargon and vulgarism while the literary layer still appeared to create some atmospheres on both songs. The researcher concluded that Eminem preferred using colloquali layer because Rap genre in self as a part of Hip Hop culture that developed in the suburban siciaty which was usually consist of social criticues and story of life that means that Eminem himself used daily expressions rather that poetic or romance expressions
