This researct animed to find out the language maintenance of tae’ language the luwu minority living in makassar. The languange maintenance was about bilingual,moolingual, and multingual aspest that accured when the luwu minority jnteracted in daili life. This reseacth fosucat on fisman’s theory that stated there are four domain, the are: the domain family, education, religion, and mas media. Then the data where analyzed using descriptive qualitativ method. The researcer uset interview guede and opservation sheet as the to get valid data.the findings swowet that the luwu minority mostly dominant uset tae’ languange in their daili life. In the famili domain, the condition of luwu minotory were monolingual as personally, bilingual and multingual whit code mixsing.in the education domain, the languange accored monolingual, and bilingual whit code mixsing. Thus in the religion domain, the languange showet code mixing in monolingual and bilingual situation
