Coping with thyroid cancer of a child in john green’s novel “the fault in our stars”
This receartch studied about Coping With Thyroid Cancer in john Green’s Novel “The Fault in Our Stars” which aimed to analyze the child behavior cope with thyroid cancer in the novel. This research used descriptive qualitative method and used note taking as the instrument. This research focused the child behavior cope with thyroid canser in the novel and based on Individual Psychology teory Alfred Adler and coping strategies by Lazarus polkman. The result on this study shous, based on the indivdual psychological analysis, The coping with and is supported by her inferiority Feelings. It makes her strive to reach the superiority an d creative power in effort to overcome of her diseases and her style of life She learns to the come independent, being interest that iks more social. There are two coping strategies, problem-focus coping and emotion – focus coping on the fault in our stars. The recearcher concluded that giving particular support and inspiration to diseases of patients and the role of the people around diseses of patiens
