The role of short story in developing student”s creativiy: case study at sdn takalal ( children literature approach)
This research discussed about the role of short story in Developing students creativity: case study at SDN 133 Takalala ( Chilidren Literature Approach) . this research aimed to describe children literature and to find shot story’s role which might develop the students creativity in SDN 133 Takalala . this researc focused on likens about genre theory and brolin theory about the characteristics of creative person. Then, the data were analyzed using descriptive qualitive method. The researcher used observation sheet and note taking as the instrument to vind out the valid data the fingdings showed that there where theree types of genres used mostly in the fiffth grade, those are: Realism Traditional Literature and fantasy. The reseacher also foud that the story has role in student’s creativity development. Those role are can motivate , make students interested literature. Be critic person, giving knowledge, build their self confidence. Be independence in thougt and action, create new way to solve problem. The table shows that 93% students in the fifth grade of SDN 133 Takalalahave develop their creativity thrugh short story. The researcher concluded that chilidern literature has important role in studen’ creativity in SDN 133 Takalala.
