Mother- Daughter’s Ego The fault in Our Stars by Jon Green

This research discussed about the Ego which aimed to the mother and daughter’s ego in novel of the faylt in our Stars by John Green. The researcher based on Sigmund Freud theory about personality aspect in order to give understanding about the Ego using sigmund freud’s teory. The researcher applid descriptive qualitative method in revealing the data. The researcher then used note taking as the instrument to get the valid data. The data revealed that the mother showed over protective, understanding, loving and caring. The daughter showed some personality aspects as the main character in novel such as compulsive, understanding, spoil andselfish.Tresearcher concluded that mother’s and daughter’s ego were suitabel to theory Sigmund Freud’s in novel The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
