Discrimination Of The Main Character In R.J Palacio's Wonder

This research is about discrimination off the main character in R.J Palacio's Wonder. it aims to explain how the discrimination occurs and why it appears in R.J Palacio's Wonder. the researcher used Fultho ni et,al theory about descrimination occurence on five types namely discrimination based on race and religion, sex and gender, person with disabilities, person with HIV/AIDS and social caste; and Anders theory about appereance on three types namely insecurity, ignorance and pride. this research applied the descriptive qualitative method in revealing the data. the research used note taking as the instrument to find the valid data. the results show that there were 8 data about discrimination person with disabilities and 5 data about discrimination appearance, 2 data about insecure, 2 ignorance and 1 data about pride.
