Michelle obama's hesitation in "the united states of women summit"

This research studies Michelle Obama's Hesitation in The United States of Women Summit. This research aims to find out the types of hesitation uttered by Michelle Obama based on Calrk & Calrk (1977) theory. There are mine types of hesitation: silent pause, filled pause, repeat, false start (unretraced), false start (retraced), correction, interjection, stutters and slip of the tongue. Then, the data were analyzed using qualitative method. This research found 6 (six) out of 9 (nine) types of hesitation Michelle Obama utterances. They are repeat, filled pause, false start (unretraced), stutters, false start (retraced) and correction.
