Racial and gender discrimination in hidden figures movie

The research discussed about racial and gender discrimination in Hidden Figures Movie which aimed to find out the types of racial and gender discrimination and the causes of racial and gender discrimination in the movie. This research used descriptive qaulitative method and used theory of Pincus (2000) to analysis the types of discrimination and used the theory Lacey (1991) to analysis the causes of discrimination. The data collection in this research are script and film Hidden Figures. In Collecting data, the researcher used note taking as the instrument to find out the types and causes of discrimination in these movies. In this research, the researcher found out three types of discrimination, they are; individual, constitutional, and structural discrimination.
