Global warming representamen in All Good Girls Go To Hell by Billie Eilish
This study focuses on the representamen of Global Warming in All The Good Girls Go To Hell video clip by Billie Eilish. The objective of this research is to describe how icons, indexes, and symbols are used in the All the Good Girls Go to Hell video clip by Billie Eilish to signify Global Warming messages. This research uses a deseriptive qualitative method. The data are analyzed based on Pierce's semiotic theory. The data of this research were collected from the scene in All The Good Girls Go To Hell video clip by Billie Eilish which represents Global Warming massages. The findings reveal that seven data are found in the scene of the video clip including Global Warming signs, which show that there are five icons represent Global Warming, which are wing, angel, fire, dead animal, and the dancing shadow. Five symbols of Global Warming is represented in the video clip, which are an angel, the fall of Lucifer, broken wings, fire the shadow of girls dancing in the wildfire, and one index in datum 3 that show us the place of the wildfire that become one of the focusses of the message in this video clip. The result of this research reveals that the meaning of these signs interpreted using Pierce's semiotic theory, and the relationship between the signs and the representamen.
