Turn taking strategies used by Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper and Jess Cagle in people channel interview

This research is discussing about turn taking used by Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper and Jess Cagle which aimed to find the types of turn taking and how are turn taking used by Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper and Jess Cagle in interview on people channel. This research based on JacobL Mey theory (2001) about turn taking strategies which consist of taking the turn, holding the turn, and yielding the turn. The Research is primarily using descriptive qualitative methods to analyze the data.
As the result, the findings show that the Speakers is using taking the turn by starting up, taking over, interrupting, backchannel, and overlapping. Moreover, holding the turn consists of repetition and silent pause while yielding the turn is used by asking or giving a question during the interview. However, based on the findings, in using turn taking strategies intonation and body movement also involves in turn taking strategies.
