An analysis of commissive speech act used in inferno movie (pragmatic study)

This research concerns with analysis of commissive speech act used in inferno movie. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data analyzed in this research were taken from the scrpit of the inferno movie (2016) using searle and Vandeveken's theory (1985). Data collected in this research is in form of words, phrases, clauses and sentences that underwent commissive Speech act. The research in done trought note taking technique in order to find and collect some data.
