This research discussed about Illocutionary Acts Types in Indian Culture Stand-up Comedy by Kenny Sebastian which aimed to find out the types of illocutionary acts that performed in stand-up comedy by Kenny Sebastian. Theresearcher used descriptive qualitative method in analyzing the data. The data contained 10 videos and utterances from the speaker's subtitles that included illocutionary acts in Stand-up Comedy by Kenny Sebastian. This research applied note taking as the instrument to get the authentic data. This research used Searle's theory of illocutionary acts types, representatives, directive, expressive,commissive, and declarations. The research showed that all types of illocutionary acts were found in Stand-up Comedy by Kenny Sebastian, they were, Representative (Informing, Asserting), Directive (Inviting, Commanding, Begging), Expressive (Praising, Thanking), Commissive (Committing), and Declarations (Appointing).
