The result of this study shows, that: motivation of Frankie and Aurora can be seen from their intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation from Frankie are to follow his passion for music, getting better life, finding his identity and the truth, and to reach his dreams. Aurora's intrinsic motivation are to help Frankie in his musical life and to live his life with full happiness. Extrinsic motivation from Frankie are to share an affection with Aurora, following the encouragement from his family, to survive, and to be responsible for his action. Aurora”s extrinsic motivation are to share affection with Frankie and full her wish, and to make Frankie happy. Anothe result of this study, shows the relationship between motivations of the main characte with the plot in novel. The main character”s motivation influences plots of the story In novel. Character motivated to act will have an effect on the plot. Frankie'. motivation influences the plot that can be seen when Frankie begin to break up with his life but he successful because he has someone who help and love him. It als: encourage him to turn back. Frankie with his spirit and his passion for music, make i through the hurdles even though he traveling in America without family. He wor with foreigner, with many other musicians, then Frankie became a great musicians.
