Turn - Taking used in Interview With avemgers cast on TV program " JimmY Kimmel Live"

The goal of this study is to describe the turn signals and turn-taking strategies used by the Avengers cast and the host of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," as well as to explain the types of turn signals and turn-taking strategies used by participants on the talk show. The researcher used a role as the main instrument for data analysis in this study, and he used a gualitative method to analyze the data. Researchers use Youtube to download data in the form of videos in which talk show participants' speech is transcribed and turn signals and turn-taking strategies are selected. This research discovered three of the five types of tum signals, those are: turn-claiming signals, turn-yielding signals, and turn-taking signals. Then, the researcher identified all of the types of turn-taking strategies. There are taking the floor, holding the floor, and yielding the floor. As a result, the researcher concluded that the turn-taking strategies are the most freguently used turn between Jimmy Kimmel and the Avengers cast on Jimmy Kimmel Live interviews.
