Gender Analysis In Novel Japanese Rose
The Researcher used Joan Wallach Scoot's theory of gender. Data analysis used gualitative methods to find, describe, and analyze data contained in the Japanese Rose novel. The Researcher used note-taking as an instrument to find out the data. This research was conducted to answer gender problems specifically in the novel. The results of the study shows that there are few elements of gender according to Joan Wallach Scoot in this novel like conflicts between families, attention to selfidentity between men and women, and then characteristics that exist in the novel.
