The aims of this thesis are (i) to find out the racial discrimination represented in Angie Thomas The Hate U Give, (ii) to explain how the racial injustice affect the psychology of black people in Angie Thomas The Hate U Give. Psychoanalysis is the study of human nature and personality. The study found that racial discrimination still found in the black people lives such as stereotype, prejudice and social rejection. And racial discrimination still exist based on Frantz Fanon theory suse psychological approach is still found in the novel.
