Linguistic Landscape At Restaurants in Makassar

This study aims to determine and analyze the use of linguistic landscape at restaurants Makassar. The object of this study are : 1). To describe using linguistic landscape that are found in the Restaurants Makassar ( top-down and bottom-up ) and to describe the language display in menu restaurants Makassar ( Monolingual bilingual, multilingual) and 2) To find out the reason for the restaurant owner of using english in the linguistic landscape in the restaurants Makassar especially in the menu restaurants. This study uses descriptive gualitative methods. The data are mnalyze based on Landry and Bourhis (1997) Theory about the use of Linguistic Menlu bila ai Mena Naba s0 hi seb 2g Spa and On , Aa .
