This study discussed about post-memory in the novel The Underground Railroad by Cokon Whitebead (2016)”. This study aims to discussed ways of how memories transmi from the past generation to the current generation and to see the role of gender in influencing the process of transferring the memory process. In analyzing the data, the researcher used post-memory theory by Marianne Hirsch. This study used descriptive gualitative method. The research procedure includes the development of guestions and processes.
