this thesis focuses on the taboo expression which is not allowed to express by fisherman society in Majene Regency during they are sailing. the study found that there are sixteen taboo expressions of Mandarese fisherman society in Majene. it divides into two parts; the taboo for fisherman themselves, and the taboo for fisherman family.

Comparsion between english and indonesian adjective : a contrastive analysis

the result of this research showed that the adjective in english is different from adjective in indonesian. the different of both includes the position, the form, and the comparative. in the position, the english adjective placed before noun and after linking verb. on the other hand, indonesian adjective position comes after noun.
