Comparsion between english and indonesian adjective : a contrastive analysis

the result of this research showed that the adjective in english is different from adjective in indonesian. the different of both includes the position, the form, and the comparative. in the position, the english adjective placed before noun and after linking verb. on the other hand, indonesian adjective position comes after noun.

through this analysis, there were 18 omissions out of 83 errors or 21,68% errors in the speaker utterances. there were 27 additions out of 83 errors or 32,53% errors in the speaker utterances. there were 36 misformations out of 83 errors or 43,37% in the speaker utterances, and there were 2 misordering out of 83 errors 2,4% errors in the speaker utterances.
