Personality of characters in a nightmare on elm street movie

This research discussed about Personality of Charàcters in a Nightmare on Elm street movie. This research aimed to find the personality on the conversation between the characters in movie. This research focused on analyzes personality of speaking toward the conversation by the characters in movie using Archetypes by Jung's theory. This theory explains clearly five styles of Archetypes: persona, anima and animus, shadow, the self. Then, the data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative method. The researcher used note taking as the instrument to find out the valid data. The findings showed that characters in movie using Archetypes. Researcher concluded that people used persona to protect themselves to others, used anima and animus to treat each other, shadow appears of pressure of society, the self of characters is the achievement of personality.
